The History of Mexico





Traces of civilization in Mexico can date back to 25,000 years BCE. The early civilizations in Mexico included the Myan’s, Aztec, and Mixtic. the Myan civilization most notably was the first civilization to have a fully formed written and spoken language, while the Myan’s did not invent the calender system they are credited will fully developing the idea. Aztec’s formed a strong agricultural system and it is said that they found the majority of grow-able food in Mexico; as well the Aztec’s were an extremely large tribe and left a huge population that carries on their legacy and even today 1.5 million people in Mexico speak the Aztec language of Nuhuatl. These early civilizations among others in Mexico were far more advanced than most civilizations in Europe and were able to live incredibly successfully off the land, the amazing harmony that they had found between man and nature was disrupted when Europeans came over and gave everyone deceases that there specialized immune systems had no chance at fighting. Besides the invention of the calender and other crucial mathematical and scientificle discoveries the legacy of these incredible civilizations will be the large rock structures that are still there in Mexico today.


In the 16th century Spain came over and colonized in Mexico calling it new Spain. Spain remained in power there until September 1810 when Mexico declared Independence. Mexico has remain independent ever since. in 1910 where troubling politics became revealed the Mexico revolution happened, the revelation caused civil war which resulted in the death of 900,000 Mexicans.
